Since we joined Spring Valley Baptist Church, we have received blessing after blessing. So many blessings that I really cannot even remember them all. It's become almost routine to receive food, clothing, even cash in the most supernatural ways. And every time, I'm reminded of what that man said to me. I thought what bothered me about what he said was that he was so proud of what he had done for me. And that's certainly part of it, but really it's about the credit.

You see, our church hasn't blessed us. Our church is one of the many kinds of divine aid God has given us. And our church doesn't deserve an ounce of praise... Our God does.
