How can this be?

I'm feeling a little bit weepy today...okay...a LOT weepy. Sure, it might have a little to do with pregnancy hormones, but I think it's mostly because my "little" Drew is FIVE today. (And for the record, I just burst into tears while typing that...)

How on earth did this happen? How can he be FIVE? I think in my mind, he is still 3, and I'd kind of like him to stay that way. I'm not sure I know how to deal with this whole "growing up" thing.

Drew is such a special kid. Really. God has given him such a sensitive heart. He is very aware of those around him, and if he senses someone is lonely or sad or hurting, he is quick to help. He loves giving hugs, and says the sweetest things. I just love this little boy, and am so thankful that God has entrusted him to us.

Happy 5th Birthday, Mr. Biddie!
