I'm sorry it has taken me so long to update on AJ's big day. It's been a really busy afternoon/evening (not used to this schedule yet), and I haven't been feeling well.
AJ did really well today. He came home with a stamp on his hand, which means that he was good all day long. His teacher sends home a notebook each day with a short note telling how he did, and she said that he asked a lot of questions (imagine that!) and colored really well. He did have a difficult time at naptime though. I'm sure he was tired, but in the different environment he had a hard time laying still and sleeping. We've talked to him about it, so we'll see how he does tomorrow.
He got 2 pieces of candy for following instructions the first time (all of the other students only got one). That's my boy!
After school, he asked when we would be going back to pick up the rest of his stuff. Apparently he didn't quite understand that he would be going every day. He wasn't quite sure what to think when I told him that.
This week, he is learning about the letter I, and it is yellow week. He has to wear yellow on Thursday, so I'm sure ya'll will see pictures of that.
Thanks for all of the prayers.

Well, AJ is off to his first day of school. He was so excited and was up at 6am all ready to go.
