I'm making AJ a small quilt for school. His supply list calls for a "small blanket" for naptime, so I decided that it must be homemade.

AJ loves space stuff, so that's the theme of his quilt. It's nothing fancy or difficult, but he loves it so far.

I finished the quilt top this afternoon. It will be bordered in blue fabric with stars, and the backing is a lightweight flannel with planets and aliens on it (will have a closeup of that fabric later). I have just over a week to complete it, but am hoping to have it done by this weekend. We'll see.

For now, here's the top. The colors in this picture aren't true. The orange isn't so pink in real life, and the light color is off-white with white stars.
