Haven't posted much sewing stuff lately. Mostly because we were out of town for a few weeks, and I didn't sew much while we were gone (that reminds me that I need to post
the dress that I made for Megan...).
Anyways, while I'm pretty sure that no one even reads this blog, I need a project list for myself. So here it is.
Projects in the works:
AJ's quilt - just a little more quilting, and then the binding will be all that's left. I'm putting it off because I'm scared of the binding. But it will be done by Monday night. DONE!!

Dress for Megan - my Mom challenged me to make a more complicated dress for Megan. Something that wouldn't be easy and quick...just to prove to myself that I could do it. Well, I decided to take her up on that challenge, so today I cut out the dress. There are a LOT of pieces, and I'm afraid it's not going to turn out cute. But we'll see. I'll start sewing on that in the next few days.
Projects on deck:
AJ's Bible cover - this is no big deal and will take 20 minutes. It's for his school Bible, so it will be done by Monday. DONE

Mom's skirt - I've been putting this off because I'm nervous about it not fitting properly when I'm done. But I'll probably start it next week b/c I know she's anxious to have it.
Skirt for myself - this will match the dress I'm making Megan, but i don't want to start it until I'm sure her dress turns out okay.
Music bag - I have 4 choir books and a music binder for church. I decided I need a music bag, so I bought some really cute musical note fabric before vacation. I'd like to have this done before next Wednesday, but we'll see. DONE!

Christmas gifts - not going to go into great detail about these just in case certain people are reading this (who am I kidding).
Another quilt - I haven't picked out a pattern for sure yet. Aunt Janice sent me one that looks easy and cute. And I got a book yesterday (bargain for a dollar!) with all sorts of fun patterns in it. I want to use up some of my stash, so I need to figure out what I have before starting this. I'm in no hurry to start this project, but it does sound fun so I'll probably start it sooner than later.
