AJ had school orientation tonight. He got to take his supplies to school and see his classroom and talk to his teacher. Being the
geeky loving mom that I am, I took a few pictures.
This was taken before we left the house. He was so excited and was bouncing all around. It was hard to get a picture of him at all. Oh, and Megan was mad because I wasn't telling her to say "cheese".
He insisted that I take a picture of his new shoes. He thought everyone would be impressed (which I'm sure you are). Notice the thread on his shoe. Ray says the thread in this house is worse than living with a dog who sheds. You never leave the house without checking for threads on your clothes. They are the telltale sign that I sew a lot!
This is AJ's seat. He was given a special pencil which is already in his box. And yes. His name is in cursive. His teacher said she will be teaching them all cursive this year. Better her than me!
AJ will be the teachers
pet aid this week.
And finally, a picture with his teacher (her name is Mrs. Fontelera...which I'm sure I just spelled wrong). Yes, she really is that short.
More pictures tomorrow!!!!!
Coming to a theater near you: The Jones' Empty Nest. (Because this film is categorized as being in production, the data is subject to change; some data could be removed completely.)
Megan wasn't sad. She was angry because I was taking AJ's picture and not hers. She won't be going to preschool.
You were right that I will take AJ to school and then Drew and Megan will come home in the van with me.
I got those shoes on sale at Payless for $4. I'm glad you like them.
My heart is holding you today, Laura -- and Ray, too.
BTW, you know what happened when WE had empty nest thoughts!
I love the shoes!
