I lost my temper with you again. "I'm sorry" just doesn't seem to cut it.

I don't want you to remember my anger. I don't want you to remember how I made you cry. I don't want you to be afraid. I only want you to remember how much I loved you. I want you to remember how you made me proud. I want you to remember how you made me laugh. I want you to remember how much God loved you through me. I want you to remember how much I loved your mother. I don't want you to remember one angry word. I don't want you to remember one time that I was disappointed.

You are not a disappointment. You are my son. I love you. And there is nothing you can do to make me stop.

This hits the heart. I'd have to write one of these almost every day! Thank you for sharing. I'd print this one up and tuck it away in his scrapbook.
