Another apron

Remember the apron that gave me so much grief? I told myself I'd never again make another one like it.

I was wrong, of course.

A friend saw my apron, fell in love, and asked me to make one for her. She's such a wonderful lady who I really admire, and there is just no way I could tell her no. So back to the fabric store I went.

I will admit that I am very glad I made another one. I made a few changes to the way I made it, and it came together SO much easier.

I also made a matching potholder with the small piece of leftover fabric. I used this free tutorial, and I think it turned out really cute. I'd never done any freehand quilting before, and I just love how it looks.
